Jet Repair Center, Inc. (JRC) repairs, overhauls and modifies crew seats, flight attendant seats and mission seats for commercial, regional and military aircraft. It is based near Miami International Airport in Florida, holds an FAA repair station certificate and says it can work on all major seat OEMs.

Repair and overhaul

• Bench checks, repairs, overhauls and modifications of crew and flight attendant seats
• Bench check, repair and overhaul of most electrical seat actuators and control modules

• Customised statements of work and tracking of removal trends so that needed parts are stocked

Military seat experience

• Military bunk bed covers and cushions for C-5, C-17, C-130, C-141 and E-8
• End users listed include the USAF, US Navy, National Guard, Coast Guard and the Colombian Air Force

In-house manufacturing and parts

• Manufacture of over 770 FAA-PMA parts in-house
• Thermoforming, sheet metal and machine shop, paint booth and a cut and sew shop
• Dress covers in sheepskin, fabric and leather, headrest, footrest and armrest covers, and back, bottom and lumbar cushions
• Plastic shrouds and covers for interiors
• Parts supplied with a fresh dual release 8130-3 from JRC and inspected per the OEM component maintenance manual
• Reverse engineering of most fabric and plastic seat parts, with fabricated parts compliant with 14 CFR 25.853 vertical burn rules

AOG and customer service

• AOG crew seat repair at Miami International and Fort Lauderdale International airports, with on-airport support covered by a D100 rating on its FAA Ops Specs
• A 100 percent inspection buy-back programme and a 12 month warranty from installation
• Information provided within 24 hours of a request
• Pickup and delivery to and from MIA and FLL and across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties
