Jeff Bonner Research & Development

Jeff Bonner Research and Development Company, known as JBRND, is an aerospace manufacturer in San Antonio, Texas. It started in 1991 with two employees. The company says it has grown every year since and marked 25 years in 2016.

JBRND serves the VVIP, commercial and military sectors of aviation. It makes turnkey assemblies, and it says 99% of the processes are done in house. Its technicians get extensive training. The company says it often takes jobs that no one else has done. Much of its VVIP work is never seen by the public.

The work for commercial airlines and business customers helped build JBRND into a full service manufacturing site. Because of demand for luxury work, the company formed a unit for the VIP and VVIP market. It says it has built a line of products that no other company offers. The site backs this with a large machine shop and a composite shop.

The facility has four buildings with 65,000 square feet of shops. The company says it holds ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100:2016 qualifications. It also holds an FAA Repair Station certificate. These show that its quality system and repair work meet industry rules.

The company has served the military on custom aircraft projects in San Antonio. It says it looks forward to more projects with military and space transport customers as its capabilities and facilities grow.

A recent news item covers the launch of a new generation SYNCDRIVE smart shade controller. This shows the interior and cabin products the company builds. The site does not give a full product list, so buyers should ask about specific items.

The contact page says the company welcomes enquiries from around the world. It lists office hours Monday to Friday and a contact form. It also asks sales solicitors not to send unrelated email. Customers can use the website to describe a project and learn how the company can help.
