Indianapolis International Airport

Indianapolis International Airport, known as IND, is an airport in Indianapolis in the United States. It is run by the Indianapolis Airport Authority, or IAA. The airport is at 7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46241.

The IAA was set up as a municipal corporation by the Indiana General Assembly in 1962. It owns, develops and runs five airports in the Indianapolis area. A board of eleven voting members governs it. The mayor of Indianapolis, the president of the City-County Council and officials from four nearby counties appoint the members.

The website helps travelers plan a trip. It has live flight times, live parking information and a flight search. Pages cover dining, shopping and services in the terminal, and a section called Before You Fly on security and what to pack. The parkIND Plus Program is a parking program for leisure and business travelers.

The site also has a community section, news releases, and reports on the airport authority. Investors can find financial reports. The site says IND has received awards from Airports Council International and from readers of Conde Nast Traveler.

Drone operators must send a form before flying within five miles of an airport run by the IAA. The site also posts a tarmac delay plan. A contact form lets visitors choose a topic, such as airline issues, parking, lost and found or retail. The airport has a work page for jobs.
