High Tide Helicopters

High Tide Helicopters is an aerial tour company. The website also calls it High Tide Aviation. It runs scenic flights along the coast of North Carolina and Georgia. The site lists locations in Southport, North Carolina, St Simons Island, Georgia, and Wilmington, North Carolina.

The company offers airplane tours and helicopter tours. An important notice on the home page says helicopter tours are currently unavailable. Visitors are asked to browse the airplane tour packages instead. Tour names include the Beach Lover, the Lighthouse Tour, the Bald Head Island tour, the Cape Fear Passport, the Golden Isles Passport and the Jekyll Island tour. Other tours include Battleship to the Beach, Masonboro Excursion, Topsail Trek and Cape Fear Expedition.

Booking takes four steps on the website. A visitor selects a coastline, picks a tour, adds passengers and pays at checkout. Each location has between three and six tour options. Airplane tours take up to three passengers per flight. After checkout, the visitor receives an email confirmation and tickets.

The company also lists other services. These include aerial photography and videography, gift cards and custom tours. The site has a flight training page with options for students.

Reviews on the site are taken from Tripadvisor. The site shows a rating of 4.9 from 267 reviews. Reviewers often praise the pilots and the views of the coast. Many reviews come from families who booked a flight for a birthday or a first helicopter ride. One reviewer says the company was a good way to see the area and its sharks from above.

The site lists three phone numbers, with area codes 910 and 912. It also has Facebook, YouTube and Instagram accounts. The site does not give a street address for its locations.
