Heli-Linth AG

Heli-Linth AG describes itself as a helicopter company from the Glarus region of Switzerland. It operates from the airfield area in Mollis, canton Glarus, and flies work missions for farms, mountain huts, forestry, authorities and cable car operators, as well as sightseeing flights and specialist pilot training.

Services

• Alp supply: for many years the company has offered transport flights in summer to supply remote mountain regions and alpine farms. Orders in the area of Glarus, Schwyz, Uri, upper Walensee and Sarganserland are collected for a Wednesday flying day, and Alpstein and Appenzell has a Thursday, from 1 May to 31 October
• Material transport: loads of up to 1,200 kg, supplies for SAC huts and mountain restaurants, concrete, sand and gravel in aluminium buckets, small excavators and building containers
• Timber transport with a double hook, and special tree felling near power lines, busy roads, railways and houses
• Avalanche blasting for authorities and cable car operators, dropping charges at precise points
• Animal rescue in the alpine summer, carried out according to animal protection law and after agreement with the vet
• Sightseeing flights for up to five passengers, with vouchers available

Training

Heli-Linth does not see itself as a classic flight school and does not offer PPL(H), CPL(H) or ATPL(H) courses. It offers mountain landing training (MOU), H125 type rating, night flying and, in individual cases, HESLO external load training.
