Hayward and Green Aviation

Hayward and Green is a parts and engineering support company in West Sussex, England. It was established in 1969 to supply avionics, aircraft instruments and material support to airlines and governments worldwide. The company says it has provided parts and engineering support to airlines and helicopter operators for over 50 years.

The product range runs from nuts, bolts and washers to major line replaceable units (LRUs), jet and turbine engines and complete aircraft. Its engineering operations span 50 countries, and it supports over 30 aircraft platforms. Its Sussex headquarters holds more than 350,000 lines of inventory.

Fixed wing types include the Airbus A320 family, A330 and A340, ATR 72, Boeing 737NG, 767 and 777, Bombardier Dash 8, Embraer E190 and E170, Gulfstream IV and Saab 340 and 2000. Helicopter types include the Agusta AW109 family, AW139, AW189, AW101 Merlin, Airbus Super Puma, AS350, Sikorsky S61 and Sea King, S76 and S92.

The company offers system support for specific systems, including AW109E generators, main rotor blades, dampers and servo actuators. It also supports crash position indicators for the AW101, AW139 and AW189, and EFI890R glass cockpit displays. Avionics stock includes LRUs and spares from manufacturers such as Honeywell, Thales, Garmin and Rockwell Collins.

Over 25% of the stock holding is engine material. The company stocks and distributes parts for engine types including GE90, CF6, CFM56, V2500, RB211, PW120 series and CT7. It stocks parts for APUs including the APS3200, APS2300, APS2600 and APS5000. In house aircraft and engine teardown is carried out by its engineers.

Services include repair management, project management, consignment, end of life parts support and recovery. The company keeps a technical data library of illustrated parts catalogs, component maintenance manuals and related documents. It runs an aircraft on ground service, and says its commercial parts inventory is valued at over $15m.

The company supports legacy aircraft and their systems, and its aim is to keep aircraft operational and airworthy. Customers can call sales or search the live inventory online, and a 2026 line card is available.
