GeoCue

GeoCue makes drone LiDAR sensors, handheld scanners and point cloud software for mapping and surveying. It has worked in LiDAR mapping hardware and software since 2003. Its tools serve survey professionals who collect and process 3D data.

The TrueView line covers drone LiDAR and imagery sensors. A standard range includes the TrueView 1 Lite, 1, 515, 535, 539, 540 and 550. A second range is built to meet NDAA rules and includes the TrueView 1 NDAA, 641, 651, 655, 660, 680 and 720. Some models work for both drone LiDAR and mobile mapping, so one sensor can serve different projects. GeoCue also offers sensor rental and an online sensor selector to help pick a model.

For walking scans, the company sells the TrueView GO handheld SLAM line. Models include the GO NEO, 116S and 132S. They suit work from surveying to BIM, and a five day free trial is offered.

The software side is led by LP360. LP360 Drone, Land and Geospatial handle point clouds and drone data, and GeoCue also lists Agisoft Metashape. Drone hardware comes bundled with LP360 post-processing tools. The company also sells LiDAR survey targets.

GeoCue backs its products with training, consulting and support. Training is given by live webinar or on site. Consulting helps new drone mapping users build the technology into their work. The company also takes on custom projects for enterprise, government and military customers, and it works on integrations with drone makers.

Its tools are used in surveying and mapping, civil engineering and transport departments, power lines and utilities, mining, construction and forestry. GeoCue sells through distributors, and recent partners include Maverick and Candrone in Canada.
