Generation Global

Generation Global designs, manufactures and refurbishes aircraft interiors for commercial airlines, private jets, helicopters and light aircraft. The company is based at Nelson Airport in Nelson, New Zealand, where the Hill family has worked in aircraft interior upholstery for more than 60 years, starting with a Cessna 172. It also lists offices in Gahanna, Ohio and Lexington, North Carolina in the United States and a contact number in Canada. Approvals

Generation Global holds an EASA Part 21G production organisation approval, an NZCAA Part 148 manufacturing organisation certificate and an NZCAA Part 145 maintenance organisation certificate. Parts can be delivered with an EASA Form 1, which the company notes the FAA accepts as equivalent to an 8130-3 under the bilateral agreement, and design changes are approved as EASA Part 21J minor changes. It maintains in-house test facilities for 14 CFR 25.853 burn testing and uses external facilities for TSO C72 flotation cushion and TSO C127 dynamic seat testing.

Cirrus

The online shop has a Cirrus collection with seat upholstery for the SR22 G1 and G2, door and rear armrest covers for the SR22 G1, G2 and G3, and an aft console armrest cover. A project write-up on the site describes an SR22 owner in Massachusetts who designed a full custom interior in the online configurator, with SR22 embossed into each seat backrest, received it by post and installed it himself.
