About Gammon Technical Products

Gammon Technical Products is a manufacturer of aviation fuel equipment. It is based in Manasquan, New Jersey, in the United States. The company makes quality control tools, refueling equipment and fuel handling products for the aviation fuel industry.

The company was started in 1960 by Howard Gammon. He had been a chief engineer at an automotive filter maker. At first the business sold products made by other companies, including to the newly formed NASA. Over time it began to design its own products.

Early products included the simple sampling probe, the MiniMonitor, the Gammon Gauge, Aqua-Glo and the sump separator. The company says it has more than 15 patents. It describes its range of field aviation handling equipment as the widest in the world.

Most of the company's products are made in its own shop. The plant is in the United States, and it uses American-made parts when possible. The site says more than half of its employees have worked there for at least ten years.

The company is family owned and run. Jim Gammon, the son of the founder, became president. Howard and Jim have served as officers at ASTM and taken part in groups such as NFPA, SAE and NATA. The third generation of the family is now involved.

Gammon sells through a network of distributors. The site says it has 50 international distributors covering more than 100 countries, and more than 30 distributors in the United States. Visitors can browse a product catalog, manuals and national stock numbers.

The website also has an online store, a GamGrams education section, FAQs and a page about The Symposium conference. The company's phone number is +1 732 223 4600. A mailing list sign up is on the contact page.
