Forbo Flooring Systems

Forbo is a manufacturer of flooring systems, building and construction adhesives, and power transmission and conveyor belt solutions. The group has two divisions: Forbo Flooring Systems and Forbo Movement Systems. The Eurocol brand sits within flooring. The company describes its aim as creating better environments.

Flooring Systems offers environmentally friendly linoleum, high-quality vinyl floors, entrance flooring systems that clean and dry shoes, carpet tiles, needle felt and Flotex, a washable textile flooring. The company says these floors are a first choice for public buildings, department stores, hospitals and healthcare facilities, schools, libraries, commercial offices, leisure centers, hotels, restaurants and cafeterias. They are also used in homes.

Forbo says it has a market share of over 65 percent and is the world market leader in linoleum.

Under the Eurocol brand, the company provides ready-made adhesives for flooring installations, parquet and ceramic tiles. It also supplies levelling compounds for the construction industry.

Movement Systems supplies power transmission belts, conveyor and processing belts, and plastic modular, timing and flat belts made of synthetic materials. These products are sold under the Siegling brand as total belting solutions. Applications include conveyor and processing belts in the food industry, treadmill belts in fitness studios, and flat belts in mail distribution centers.
