Flughafen Lübeck

Lübeck Airport is a regional airport in northern Germany. The site calls it a direct gateway from the Baltic Sea to southern Germany and on into Europe. It has good road and rail links. Travelers use it for holidays and for special trips.

The route list covers several places. Flights go to London, Málaga and Palma de Mallorca. The airport announced a 2027 summer flight schedule. From April the airport adds more links between Lübeck and Palma. Palma is a classic holiday spot with a Mediterranean climate and beaches. The island has lively seaside resorts, quiet villages and secluded bays.

The Málaga link is the first fixed connection from Lübeck to Andalusia. The site describes a warm climate, 16 nearby beaches and places such as Marbella. Flights run in summer and winter. In January a direct flight to Kuusamo in Lapland runs again, for snowy winter trips. The area also has a rich cultural heritage.

The airport promotes London Stansted, northeast of London. The Stansted Express train runs every 15 minutes. It takes 45 minutes to reach the center of London.

The terminal offers a bistro, shops for gifts and travel items, and a travel agency for advice. The site says short distances make it easy to walk from the car park to check-in, security and the gate. A new conference center is planned, with a restaurant and a large viewing terrace over the airside.

The airport also sells trips. Escorted tours leave from Lübeck. Destinations include Lapland, Jersey and Morocco. The home page lists special offers for these trips.

Events also take place at the airport. A concert of Saint-Saens, Carnival of the Animals, with music, dance and storytelling, is announced for 4 October 2026. Another evening event is listed for 19 September 2026. The website has a newsletter sign-up and a contact form. The site says the airport can host concerts and other events.
