FlightLogix, LLC

FlightLogix, LLC is an aircraft maintenance and aircraft management company in Hangar 1 at Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport (KLUK), 4510 Airport Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Greg Herrmann and Jay Schmalfuss founded it at Lunken in 2005, starting with a management contract for a King Air B200. Cirrus appointed FlightLogix an Authorized Service Center in 2008, and it is an authorized CAPS overhaul facility.

About the company

In late 2006 the company leased the historic Hangar 1 and used its extra 2,000 square foot building to start Lunken Flight Training Center, now a Cessna Pilot Center and FAA approved Part 141 school whose fleet FlightLogix still manages and maintains. In 2012 it expanded into Hangar 2, which doubled its floor space and ramp. After Greg Herrmann died in 2020, Jay Schmalfuss and partners Dave Stewart and Paul Farina reinvested in both companies. Dave Stewart leads the maintenance team.
