FDA Aerospace Solutions

FDA Aerospace Solutions is a group of aerospace professionals. The team focuses on FDA regulatory compliance and aircraft certification in commercial and business aviation. The site says the team includes engineers, A and P licensed technicians, inspectors and delegated FDA program administrators. The mailing address is in Charleston, South Carolina.

The team works under Title 21, Part 1250 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Its focus is galleys, lavatories, passenger entry mats and door surrounds. The site says the company has worked on aircraft from the smallest regional jets to the largest wide-bodies.

Initial certification work includes inspection, sealing and rework, and project management. The site says the company can also design self-certification programs for higher volume operations. These programs help established operators keep their certification in order.

The entry-to-service program covers new non-Boeing aircraft that enter a fleet without an FDA certificate. It also covers overhauled interiors and aircraft bought or leased from a foreign carrier. The team handles the walk through and issues the FDA Form 2371a Certificate of Sanitary Construction.

In-service work includes deep cleaning, decorative repair, and FDA sealant refurbishment. The site says these services make galleys, lavatories, entry mats and door surrounds look like new. It says the work also makes these areas easier to clean between flights.

The company says it trains technicians and inspectors in what it calls first-pass quality. Its program administrators learn to work with FDA district offices. The site has a contact page, a LinkedIn page, a microsite on cabin hygiene, and a list of certifications.
