About European Regions Airline Association
The European Regions Airline Association, or ERAA, is a trade body for regional aviation in Europe. It represents over 50 airlines. It also has more than 150 associate members. These include manufacturers, airports, suppliers and aviation service providers.
Regional connectivity is at the heart of its mission. ERAA says member airlines link Europe's regions. These links support social and territorial equality. They also help growth through tourism, investment, business development and jobs.
The association's main task is to speak for its members. It works with the key European regulatory bodies. It aims to improve regional air links and protect the ability of regional carriers to compete. It also pushes for environmental and social responsibility. It supports progress in safety, operations and air traffic management.
ERAA lists several goals. These include being the voice of the sector and promoting the part regional airlines play in local economies. It also campaigns for steady gains in air safety and efficiency, working with safety and air traffic authorities. It supports business links among members through focus groups and networking.
The website shares recent news. The ERAA General Assembly 2026 took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from 6 to 8 October. The theme was the future of regional aviation, with connectivity at a crossroads. The 2026 Airline Awards were held there on 8 October to honour regional airlines.
The association also published its flagship report, Annual Pulse 2026: The State of Regional Aviation in Europe. It looks at how Europe's regional network is changing and why lower-volume routes matter. It also covers how the right aircraft, capacity and frequency affect service. On 12 October 2026 ERAA announced the results of its Board elections.
The site has a Join ERAA button for companies that want to apply for membership. Other questions can go through a contact form.
