Emirates Flight Catering

Emirates Flight Catering is a flight catering and food service company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It serves more than 100 airlines. It also serves airport lounges, private jets, hospitality customers and events. Its main operation is at Dubai International airport.

Its Central Commissionary Unit at Dubai International is a five storey facility that runs all day and all year. It has a full bakery and commissary section, and it uses automated food production equipment. The company says it produces an average of 225,000 meals a day. It serves more than 10,000 meals a day at airport lounges and handles about 30 tons of proteins and vegetables each day.

Airline and airport catering covers inflight meals for airlines that depart from Dubai International and Al Maktoum International Airport, including flydubai. It also supplies the lounges of airlines such as Emirates, Gulf Air, British Airways and SkyTeam, plus the Marhaba, Majlis and Star Alliance lounges. Food and beverage outlets in the departure areas of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at Dubai International, and at Dubai World Central, are also served.

Food Services, known as Foodcraft, makes food for hospitality, catering and retail customers across the GCC. Its customers include hotels, restaurants, caterers, quick service restaurants and retail operators. The Food Point facility at Dubai Investment Park covers 10,000 square metres. The company says it has a capacity of 52 million meal equivalents a year and is the largest food manufacturing facility in the GCC. Services include new product development, white label production and recipe creation.

Laundry services, known as Linencraft, offer dry cleaning and laundry, including 24 hour laundry service. Events catering serves gatherings of all sizes. Ancillary services include duty free sales handling, bonded and dry store supply, airline equipment and inventory control, passenger amenities and reading material supply. The company also runs an on site food analysis laboratory, a 24 hour maintenance workshop and a transport fleet of 363 vehicles. The fleet includes over 280 high loader trucks, 89 of them specialised for the Airbus A380.

The company holds FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO/IEC 17025 approvals, and its food is HALAL certified. It says it was the first airline caterer in the Middle East to receive ISO 9001 and the first airline catering company with ISO 45001 occupational health and safety certification. In 2026 it received the British Safety Council International Safety Award.

The company employs more than 10,000 staff. Its chefs come from 69 nationalities. In February 2026 it commissioned a biodigester at its Central Commissary Unit to process organic waste on site. The company aims to reduce its annual CO2 emissions by 2,000 tonnes with the system.
