About Eliance

Eliance is a Spanish aviation services operator with its head office at Cuatro Vientos airport in Madrid. It flies helicopters and fixed wing aircraft for services of high social value, including emergency medical care, firefighting, search and rescue and civil protection. The company says it is always ready to respond wherever and whenever a service is needed.

Its emergency medical service uses helicopter ambulances (HEMS) and airplane ambulances (FWAA). The company says its helicopters work as airborne intensive care units, with the medical equipment needed to treat and transport patients. Pilots, on-board operators, medical staff, engineers and mechanics work together on these missions.

Firefighting is a major part of the work. Aircraft observe and detect fires, send live aerial images in real time, and drop water directly with Bambi Buckets or ventral tanks. Helicopters can refuel with water in flight, transport ground crews and provide air coordination for the wider firefighting effort.

Search and rescue, cargo transport, power line and gas pipeline inspection, aerial film work, photogrammetry and LIDAR surveys are also part of the service range. Passenger transport and observation flights round out the offer. Engineering and maintenance support the fleet.

The helicopter fleet includes Airbus H135 and H145 models for emergency work. The firefighting helicopters include types such as the 350B3, 355n and 130t2. Fixed wing aircraft include Beechcraft B200 and Partenavia P68 types, used for surveillance and firefighting support. The company says it operates more than 90 aircraft and helicopters.

The company reports more than 447,000 flight hours, 76 operational bases and around 400 people across its teams. It presents its services in Spanish and English on its website, and it invites customers to contact the team by email for enquiries about its missions.
