Aeromedical and Marine TRI and International Rescue S.L. is a medical transport company in Barcelona, Spain. It moves patients by air ambulance and commercial airline, evacuates sick or injured seafarers, and provides personal medical escorts for VIP travellers. Doctors are on call 24 hours a day, every day.

Team

The company is led by Dr. Fortea, an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with more than 20 years in the field. She studied at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and in the Netherlands, speaks eight languages, and heads the international medicine department at the General University Hospital of Catalonia. She has flown with the Spanish helicopter emergency services (HEMS) and as a flight physician on long-haul air ambulance and airline missions for two decades.

The flight teams are intensive care doctors and nurses trained in aerospace and emergency medicine. The company says its staff has moved more than 1,000 intensive care and non-critical patients from over 100 countries.
