Dorr Aviation Credit Corporation

Dorr Aviation Credit Corporation, LLC is an aircraft financing company in Paxton, Massachusetts. It was started by Mel Dorr in the 1960s as a Cessna and Piper dealer at Marlborough airport in Massachusetts; he began financing the aircraft he sold through small local banks, and the business grew into a finance company that describes itself as the oldest aircraft financing company in the United States, with more than 12,000 aircraft loans closed. Dorr is not a bank: it arranges loans through a nationwide network of aviation lenders and handles the FAA paperwork so that ownership is correctly recorded.

Lender wire cut-off is 2:00 PM Eastern and the FAA closing cut-off 4:15 PM Eastern.
