Clover Aviation Capital is an aircraft lessor and asset manager with its head office in Hong Kong. It leases aircraft and engines to airlines, trades aviation assets and manages aircraft for investors around the world.

The company has worked in the aviation industry since 2015. It deals with airlines, aircraft makers, investors, banks and other firms in the sector. It describes itself as a Mizuho company. Its backers are Mizuho Bank, Mizuho Leasing and Ping An Leasing.

Leasing is the core of the business. Clover offers sale-and-leaseback deals and Japanese operating lease with call option, known as JOLCO, to airlines. It focuses on aircraft and engines with the latest technology. It also gives airlines flexible financing to suit their needs.

Clover also trades aircraft and engines. It uses its global network to find assets that already have leases attached. These are young aircraft and engines that it offers to investors for long-term value.

In asset management, the company looks after aircraft for institutional and Japanese operating lease investors. It runs a lease management system, keeps aircraft records and holds a contingent insurance policy. It also advises on investment plans, deal sourcing, economic analysis, risk, due diligence and deal closing.

Clover handles remarketing and aircraft transition work with airlines and maintenance shops. It has handled many aircraft repossessions in hard jurisdictions.

Recent deals include a sale and leaseback of an Airbus A320neo with Transavia France and a sale and leaseback of PW1133GA-JM engines with Wizz Air. Clover also delivered an A320-200 to Jetstar Japan and a CFM LEAP-1B engine to Skymark Airlines. It won the Airline Economics European Engine Finance Deal of the Year in 2026, and Moody's upgraded its rating to Baa2 in October 2026.

Beside Hong Kong, the company has a subsidiary in Dublin, a branch in Tokyo and offices in Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya.
