Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management, known as BBAM, is an aircraft leasing and management company. It leases and manages commercial jet aircraft for airlines and for capital partners. The company was founded in 1989 and has been in business for more than 30 years.

BBAM provides operating leases and fleet financing for airlines worldwide. It is one of the largest and most active managers of freighter aircraft. Its freighter fleet includes standard body and wide body aircraft, as well as converted and purpose built freighters. These aircraft deliver fuel efficient, low emission, and low noise solutions to the air cargo industry. The company also offers engine leasing and asset management for narrowbody and widebody engines.

The company manages and services aviation assets for its capital partners. It is a globally integrated private partnership. The partnership is owned by its management team, affiliates of Onex Corporation, and affiliates of GIC, the sovereign wealth fund of Singapore.

The managed fleet totals more than 560 aircraft. The largest types include the Boeing 737-800, Airbus A320-200, A321neo, A321-200, 737-8 MAX, and A320neo. The fleet also includes Airbus A350-900, A350-1000, A380-800, A321-200P2F, and Boeing 737-800BCF freighters. The engine program manages more than 40 engines.

BBAM has financed more than 40 billion dollars in commercial jet aircraft for over 100 airlines. It has made more than 1,250 individual aircraft investments. The company has successfully remarketed or sold more than 1,700 aircraft. It reports more than 21 billion dollars in aviation assets under management. The company serves over 100 airline clients across the globe. It has offices in Dallas, San Francisco, Zug, Dorado, Singapore, Dublin, Tokyo, and Seoul. Since 2017, BBAM has nearly tripled the share of new technology aircraft in its passenger fleet. It believes that sound environmental, social, and governance practices are critical elements of aircraft investing over the long term.
