The company holds ties to historic aviation organizations. The chief pilot is a member of the Commemorative Air Force and serves as operations officer for the Old Dominion Squadron. The squadron operates aircraft including a Ryan PT-22 and a Stinson L-5. The chief pilot is a senior pilot with airshow performer privileges and formation flying credentials.

The chief pilot holds a commercial seaplane license, seaplane instructor rating, CFII rating, and glider instructor rating. The flight school has trained pilots from age 14 through advanced ratings and commercial certificates. One graduate became an unrestricted Naval Aviator and active duty military pilot flying the MH-60T Jayhawk for the United States Coast Guard.
