Competitions and incubation

AZO runs the Innovation Masters Series, which includes Galileo Masters, Copernicus Masters and INNOspace Masters, as well as the Copernicus Hackathons. It also manages the ESA Business Incubation Centres (BICs) in Bavaria and Northern Germany, a program that its site says has supported more than 190 company foundations to date.

Investor network

The company operates a business angel network, which according to its site invested more than EUR 442 million in venture capital in 2020. It says it connects research facilities, institutions, industry, startups and award winning entrepreneurs in a global space innovation network.
