Ascot Group is a global specialty insurance and reinsurance group. The company was founded in 2001 with the creation of Syndicate 1414 at Lloyd's in London. Ascot Underwriting Limited manages the syndicate. The group operates through Bermuda, Lloyd's, the USA, and Guernsey. It opened an office in Houston, Texas in 2007 and an office in Hamilton, Bermuda in 2014.

The company serves the aviation and space industry. It writes policies through the Lloyd's platform. Its aviation and space products include the Approach Consortium. The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board acquired Ascot in 2016. Ascot Group Limited is the holding company. BellTower Partners invested in the group in 2024. The company employs more than 1,100 people as of 2025. Its gross written premium passed two billion dollars in 2021. The group celebrated its 25th anniversary.
