ArtCraft Paint, Inc. is an aircraft paint and interior refurbishment shop at Santa Maria Airport (SMX) in Santa Maria, California, on the Central Coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The company states over 25 years of experience and more than 2,600 aircraft painted.

About the company

President and CEO Teresa Arredondo started in the upholstery division of a company called Aerofair, ran that division within a year and bought the rest of the company within two years. She then rebuilt the business as ArtCraft Paint. The painters are certified by Sherwin-Williams, Akzo Nobel, Axalta and PPG.

Services

ArtCraft works on general aviation, corporate and charter, flight school, military and government aircraft, including experimental aircraft and helicopters. It paints aluminum, magnesium, composite, fabric and wood structures.

FBO and facilities

The facility has three hangars: a prep hangar, a maintenance hangar and a spray booth hangar. It can take an aircraft as large as a Global Express and run multiple shifts. Its processes are ISO 9001 certified. The Signature Full Paint starts at $23,000, and paint slots are booked up to 12 months ahead.
