Ann Arbor Aviation Center, Inc., now presented on its website as ACE Aviation Center, is a maintenance shop and line service operator at Ann Arbor Municipal Airport (KARB) in Michigan, located near the north east T-hangars at 719 Airport Drive. The company says it has served KARB for more than 40 years. It describes itself as a Part 91 operation with A&P and IA mechanics that is working toward FAA Part 145 repair station certification.

Cirrus services

The facility page says ACE carries "Cirrus Authorized Platinum branding" alongside Rotax-certified A&P capability. Cirrus Aircraft's locator lists the company as a Cirrus Authorized Service Center but does not list it at Platinum level. Maintenance support covers annual inspections, repairs, modifications and general aircraft maintenance; the site gives no further Cirrus-specific detail. Cirrus Aircraft's locator lists the following:

  • Maintenance for Cirrus SR20, SR22 and SR22T aircraft
  • Garmin and Avidyne avionics service
  • Ice protection system maintenance
  • Composite and paint repair
  • Cirrus parts
  • Aircraft pickup and delivery

Fuel, line service and hangars

ACE line service sells 100LL and Jet-A Positive; fuel is ordered by phone and prices are posted on the website (US$7.34 per gallon for 100LL and US$7.28 for Jet-A on 13 October 2026). Office and maintenance hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Line service runs 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM in winter and to 9:30 PM in summer, with after-hours call-out through a messaging service and a possible US$100 after-hours charge. Hangar space is limited and allocated first come, first served; overnight T-hangar storage is quoted at US$50 a night in summer and US$100 in winter, with maintenance hangar storage by special request. The site asks arriving pilots to request ACE Aviation on taxi, because the tower may route arrivals to the terminal ramp by default.

FAA testing center

ACE is a certified FAA knowledge testing center with testing blocks at 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday, three seats per block. Scheduling and payment go through the official FAA and PSI process, not through ACE. The company handles maintenance, hangar, facility and line service questions through a contact form on its website.
