About Alpha Aviation Academy SWEDEN

Alpha Aviation Academy Sweden is an Approved Training Organization. It was founded in 2020. The academy is based at Trollhättan Vänersborg Airport in Sweden. This airport is also known as Gothenburg Stallbacka Airport. The academy was started by two flight instructors. Its philosophy is to provide students with the latest technologies in the aviation sector.

The school was created by pilots for pilots. It focuses on using modern aviation technologies. Safety is a key priority. The academy offers modular flight training for EASA certifications. It specializes in professional pilot ratings. All flight training is done in multi engine aircraft.

The academy offers a modular CPL, IR and ME course. This combined program is for students who already hold a Private Pilot Licence. Students must also have completed ATPL theory before starting. The academy also offers an EASA conversion course. This program helps pilots convert an FAA or ICAO licence to an EASA licence. It typically takes one to two weeks to complete.

Other courses include proficiency checks, revalidation and renewal services. The academy provides advanced upset prevention and recovery training. It also offers multi engine piston class and instrument ratings. Students can train for a commercial pilot licence, a flight instructor rating or a class rating for the Cessna single engine type. Additional programs include the multi engine instrument rating upgrade and the class rating instructor for multi engine aircraft.

The flight school operates a fleet of modern aircraft. It owns two Diamond DA42 twin engine planes. One is a DA42 NG with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit and TKS ice protection. It cruises at 176 knots and has a range of 1100 nautical miles. The other is a DA42 Twinstar with G1000 and TKS. It cruises at 166 knots and has a range of 800 nautical miles.

The school also operates a Cessna 172 B. The academy has its own DA42 simulator. It is built as an exact replica of the aircraft cockpit. The school works with several industry partners. These include simulator providers, aircraft manufacturers and aviation software suppliers. Partners include Alsim, Simtech, Diamond, Jeppesen and ForeFlight.

The academy holds an ATO certificate. Training is delivered for EASA licences and ratings. Office hours are Monday to Friday from nine in the morning to three in the afternoon. The school serves students at its facility in Trollhättan, Sweden.
