About Airport Intelligence

Airport Intelligence is a consultancy that helps airports improve how they run. It is based at Brussels Airport in Zaventem, Belgium, and works with airports worldwide. Its aim is to make airports safe, efficient and pleasant for passengers while raising airport revenue.

The company takes a hands-on approach. It assesses an airport's needs, builds a plan with the airport team and helps carry it out. It works through consultancy, software and training. Its projects deal with passenger, baggage, aircraft and cargo flows. They can include organisation changes, process improvement, governance, data strategy, stakeholder management, documentation, procurement, operational readiness and airport transfer, known as ORAT, and training. The company works in a co-development mode, so airport teams can keep improving on their own after go-live.

It has four service lines. Total Airport Management links passenger flow, baggage and cargo handling, accessibility and aircraft operations. It builds on airport collaborative decision-making, known as A-CDM, airport operations centres, known as APOC, and airport operations plans. Passenger Experience and Commercial Revenue looks at journeys, waiting time, passenger personas, flight information displays and shop revenue.

Sustainability and Energy helps airports plan energy projects, solar panels, electric fleets, access to the airport and a shift to greener ways of travel. Compliance, Risk and Business Continuity covers safety compliance, risk management, readiness and the ability to keep working in normal and bad conditions.

The company can call on experts who work in daily operations at Brussels Airport, and on a wide network of specialists and partners. It co-wrote the Guidebook for Airport Operation Centres with ACI Europe. It is also a partner of AHLEX, the Aviation Hub for Learning and Experience, which has a 4,200 square metre training centre at Brussels Airport. Together they run training, including an APOC manager program.

Clients named on the company's pages include Isavia, Dublin Airport, Stuttgart Airport, Manchester Airports Group, Milan airports, Keflavik Airport, Luxembourg Airport, Malaysia Airports, Bordeaux Airport and the Port of Antwerp.
