AIRO Aircraft Interiors

AIRO Aircraft Interiors is an aircraft interior shop at Cherokee County Airport (KCNI), north of Atlanta, Georgia. The business opened in 2000 as a small independent mobile interior repair shop, and the company says that since 2010 it has been repairing, replacing and refurbishing interior parts with mobile service to hangars and airports around Atlanta, including PDK Chamblee, RYY Kennesaw, FTY Fulton County, KVPC Cartersville, RMG Rome, CZL Calhoun, KCCO Newnan, GVL Gainesville and Chattanooga, Tennessee. It also accepts parts shipped in from further away. Visits are by appointment.

• Flooring: full carpet replacement, binding and repairs in featherweight, nylon or wool carpet; rubber floor coverings for runners, entry steps and cargo areas; magnetic wood and tile flooring for lavatories, cargo and entry ways
• Seating: foam repairs or new foam, seat material repairs and complete refurbishment, seat base support installation
• Side wall panel board replacement, insulation and sound deadening
• Overhead ceiling panel and headliner repairs or installation
• Plastic part repairs, painting and refurbishing
• Interior detailing, colour and material refurbishing, embroidery, air stair installations and full custom interiors

The shop says it uses FAA-approved burn-certified materials such as leathers, vinyls, designer fabrics and custom carpets, and asks for tail numbers and job photos with every enquiry. Deposits are required on new projects to secure materials and a slot on the schedule.

Cirrus

The website has a page on Cirrus SR22 full interiors and repairs. The featured project is an SR22 Gen 1 that received a full interior remodel with custom foam work, full leather two-tone seats, custom wrapped interior panels and arm pads, and design ideas sourced from a 2023 model, along with a new paint scheme. The page also shows SR22 custom wrapped side panels, hard-backed map pockets and custom carpets.
