Aircraft Builders Europe is a Dutch distributor of Sling Aircraft kit planes in the Netherlands. It helps customers build their own aircraft and runs a workshop to support them.

The company sells self-build kits and quick-build kits from Sling Aircraft. The quick-build kit is 49 percent complete. Kits come in manageable sections, so builders can fit the work to the space and budget they have. The company says kit planes face much lighter rules than factory-built aircraft.

Four Sling models are on offer. The Sling 2 is a balanced two-seat design. The Sling TSi is a newer version of the line. The Sling High Wing is the newest addition to the range. The Sling LSA is built for modern flight school use.

Builders who do not want to do everything alone can join the Builder Assist Program. The company has a fully equipped workshop and experienced builders. The program includes three hangar bays, round-the-clock access to your plane, professional build help, all the power tools needed, spare parts and a paint workshop.

The company has the first flying Sling High Wing in Europe for sale. It was used as a demonstrator and has 65 flying hours. Its listed data includes a maximum take-off weight of 1,120 kg and an empty weight of 665 kg. It cruises at 120 knots at 70 percent power and tops out at 140 knots. It carries up to 198 litres of fuel and can fly for 7 to 8 hours at 70 percent power. It runs on mogas.

Aircraft Builders Europe also sponsors the work on hydrogen fuel for the Sling High Wing. It does this with the Cellsius association in Zurich. Buyers and builders can contact the team to ask questions or download a leaflet.
