Air Ambulance Worldwide

Air Ambulance Worldwide is an air ambulance and medical flight company in Clearwater, Florida. The company says it has over 30 years of service and more than 12,000 flights. It provides bedside to bedside transport on medically equipped aircraft.

The company offers air ambulance flights, medical escorts and non-emergency medical transport. It also offers medevac flights and organ transportation. Organ transport is for time sensitive trips to transplant centres. Medevac moves patients from places with limited medical care to suitable hospitals.

A medical escort is a trained professional who travels with a patient on a commercial flight. The site says the escort helps with medicines, checks vital signs and keeps the patient comfortable. This is often a lower cost choice for stable patients.

The site says the company has a fleet of medically equipped aircraft and staff with medical training. It says the company works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The site lists pages for its aircraft, equipment, licences, affiliations and references.

The site says the company works with many insurance carriers. It asks people to fill out a short form so a representative can contact them. The site also has a blog. One article asks whether health insurance covers air ambulance flights.

Visitors can call the Clearwater office or a freephone number. The site also lists social media pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. The request form asks for pickup and drop-off cities, patient age and the expected travel date.
