Aerotec & Concept

Aerotec and Concept is an aircraft modification and maintenance company based at the Graulhet aerodrome in France. It offers a full package that links a design office, manufacturing, airworthiness and maintenance.

The company has worked in the sector for more than 30 years. It says it has served airlines, government agencies and private operators for 35 years. It develops aircraft modifications in Europe and is also a major maintenance provider for Beechcraft, Dassault and ATR aircraft, as well as helicopters.

Its modification work covers design and certification. Projects include cabin customisation, SATCOM installation and in-flight entertainment systems. The company also supports avionics upgrades and livery changes. Its flight test department issues the Permit to Fly that these projects need.

The company works with large equipment makers such as Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Garmin and Universal Avionics. Its markets are government, mission and defence customers, along with corporate, VIP and general aviation operators.

Its work is covered by EASA approvals, plus approvals from the French armament authority and the GCAA in the United Arab Emirates. Its history shows the steps. It set up a design office with DOA Part 21J approval to develop service bulletins and STCs. It later gained POA Part 21G approval to build aeronautical parts and CAMO approval. It runs Part 145 maintenance sites at Toulouse Blagnac, Istres and Cazaux. It later became a subsidiary of the Expleo Group.

The company also follows a social and environmental plan. In 2024, it committed to the UN Global Compact and to UIMM support. It holds an EcoVadis recognition. Its sites let it work in France and abroad.
