Aerolux Ltd

Aerolux Ltd is a British manufacturer of aircraft galley insert equipment. It was formed in 1988 to design, manufacture and service galley inserts aimed at first class and business class service. The company works from its headquarters on Chorley Road in Blackpool, where it has invested in new buildings. It supplies airlines, corporate operators, aircraft leasing companies and railway operators, and its products are built from consultation and detailed design through to manufacture and worldwide delivery.

Manufacturing

The company moved from fabrication to CNC machined parts in 2004, when it installed a Hurco VMX42 machining center, and added a second one in 2005.

Certification and support

Standard equipment is certified to Airbus frame specification 5 or above, and many products are certified to frame specification 8. Specific equipment is also qualified for the Airbus A380. The company says it works with airlines on arrangements that move from design organisation approval to production organisation approval. Its technical publications department supplies documentation such as component maintenance manuals, service bulletins and service information leaflets.
