About Aerocore Group

AeroCore is an aircraft engine washing company. The site also uses the name AeroCore Technologies. It cleans engines with a patented nucleated foam process at the gate. The site says the company was founded in 2012 and has completed its 10,000th engine foam wash.

The foam is applied at the engine inlet. The site says it scrubs the whole engine and travels the full gas path. It says the foam resists centrifugal forces and carries contaminants out. The site says a wash takes about one hour.

The site lists claimed results for a fleet of 100 aircraft. These include about 550,000 gallons of fuel saved a year, about 12,000 tons less carbon dioxide a year, an exhaust temperature improvement of about 4 to 10 degrees, and up to 1,500 extra engine cycles before overhaul. It says the washes are 25 percent more efficient.

The site includes testimonials from an airline maintenance leader, an aerial firefighting general manager, an air refuelling operator and a Marine Corps aviation unit. The quotes praise the speed of responses and the detailed explanations of the process.

The site lists engine wash, heat exchanger cleaning and APU cleaning. It says the company added the CFM LEAP-1B to its foam wash portfolio and launched its first international site at GRU.

Leaders named on the site include Jorge Saenz, co-founder and inventor, and Kevin Bourke, chief executive officer. Ryan Pfeiffer is chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Board members include former GE Aerospace executives. The site lists the phone number (317) 732-5052.
