Aero Works is an aircraft maintenance shop at Palo Alto Airport (KPAO) in Palo Alto, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. It works from Hangar 1 and is operated by West Valley Aircraft Services, Inc.

About the company

Aero Works is an FAA Part 145 repair station (CRS 1LYR437D). It was founded by Carrie Ferguson and Kevin Pinger, who are aircraft owners, pilots and A&P mechanics with Inspection Authorization. Carrie Ferguson has over 20 years in general aviation as a pilot and mechanic and worked for the NASA Aviation Safety Reporting System. Kevin Pinger has over 30 years as a pilot and mechanic for Part 91, 121 and 135 operations, and worked for McDonnell Douglas and as a repair station manager for General Electric.

Services

The shop focuses on Cirrus aircraft and is factory trained on Cirrus and Diamond aircraft, Continental Motors, Thielert/Technify Motors and Austro Engine. Mechanics are available 24/7.

Past work includes a Beringer wheel and brake upgrade and LED lighting on an SR22, a Centex Aerospace STC installation of the Continental IOF-550-N FADEC engine on an SR22, and a gross weight increase on a DA40 with factory modified landing gear.
