About Aergility

Aergility is an aerospace company based in Dunnellon, Florida. It makes unmanned cargo aircraft for military logistics and civil cargo work. The company says it holds granted US patents for its propulsion design, called Managed Autorotation.

Managed Autorotation combines vertical take-off and landing with fixed-wing flight. The site says lift comes from fixed wings and autorotating rotors. Both draw power from one source. The site says this gives range close to a fixed-wing aircraft.

The company builds two platforms. The Vista is a compact tactical ISR drone with 25 pounds or more of useful load and speeds above 60 mph. The Hauler is a heavy-lift logistics platform with 500 pounds or more of useful load.

The site lists Hauler specifications of 500 pounds useful load, a range of 500 miles, speed above 120 mph, and more than four hours of endurance. The site notes that development specifications vary between the two platforms.

Both aircraft need no runway. They can deploy from almost any surface with minimal infrastructure. The site says they are built for denied or limited communications areas.

The site lists defense uses such as contested logistics, ship to shore operations and asset pre-positioning. Civil uses include oil and gas work, cargo, firefighting support and search and rescue.

The company's headquarters is at 10515 SW 147th Circle, Dunnellon, Florida. The site says it does not accept walk-ins and that visits are by appointment. Inquiries are handled through a contact form. The site lists LinkedIn and YouTube accounts.
