How orders work

Customers send part numbers, drawings or bill of materials requirements. The team confirms scope and inventory availability, checks specifications, cross-references and quality certifications, returns pricing, lead times and compliance paperwork, usually the same day, and then kits, packages and ships from the warehouse with the documentation the order requires. Customers without a part number can call and the team works it out from the aircraft or the application. Expedited shipping is available on request.

History

AEK was founded in the San Fernando Valley by aerospace engineer Ken Hotz. His son took over in 2000, the company became an authorized distributor for Hutchinson and Vlier in 2003, moved to a larger Sylmar facility in 2011, and has been under new ownership since 2024, when the Hotz family exited the business.
