Adventure 001

Adventure 001 is an experience company founded in 2002 that sells helicopter pleasure flights at more than 50 sites in the UK and Ireland, using its own helicopters flown under an Air Operator Certificate held by Northumbria Helicopters. For London, it offers sightseeing tours that leave from North Weald Airfield in Essex, Fairoaks Airport in Surrey and a private site in Kent. The standard city tour lasts about 30 minutes and passes the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the O2. Longer options include a 50 minute Grand Tour, a 45 minute tour for two with a drink on landing, and a private charter tour from Kent for two to four people following the Thames past Tower Bridge, the Shard and HMS Belfast. Prices start from GBP 149.75 per person. Customer questions are handled through the online enquiry form. Executive charter is offered through its Adventure Helicopters site.
