Signature Aviation has launched Signature Access, a simpler way to price a visit to its private aviation terminals. The company announced it on 27 October 2026. It says the aim is to make costs clearer and easier to plan before a trip.
Signature calls itself the world's largest network of private aviation terminals. Many business jet operators know the problem well. A visit to an FBO (fixed base operator, the terminal that serves private aircraft) can include several separate charges. Signature Access brings the core ones together.
How Signature Access works
- Core access charges are combined into one price. The price depends on aircraft size, time on the ramp and terminal location.
- At Signature's continental United States locations, eligible fuel purchases come with a waiver for the first hour.
- Hangar space, ground power units (GPU) and lavatory service stay optional and are billed separately.
- An online estimator lets operators check expected costs before they fly.
Signature Access is already live at selected locations. The company plans to add more locations in phases over the coming months. It did not publish dollar prices in the announcement.
Fewer special event fees from 2027
Signature is also changing how it charges for big events. From 2027 it plans to limit event fees to a small number of high-demand events. It will share the locations and prices at least 30 days ahead. The planned list for 2027 is:
- Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles
- The College Football Playoff National Championship in Las Vegas
- Art Basel in Miami Beach
- The US Open Tennis Championships and the UN General Assembly in New York
- Selected Formula 1 race weekends in Miami, Montreal, Austin and Las Vegas
Derek DeCross, Signature's chief commercial officer, said guests and operators helped shape the program. Dan Hubbard, acting chief operating officer at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), said the step looks like progress toward the price transparency its operator members ask for. He added that NBAA will keep reviewing the program once it is fully in place.
