About Yottec Systems

Yottec Systems designs and builds defence technology in India. The company, Yottec Systems Pvt. Ltd., works from Bengaluru. It also has engineering centres in Kochi and Chandigarh. It says it has built hardware since 2008.

The company began with test and measurement equipment, such as rigs, benches and calibration facilities used by aerospace and defence laboratories in India. Over time it moved into its own products. These include underwater acoustic modems and high altitude logistics drones.

Yottec groups its work into four areas. Embedded systems covers acoustic modems, sensor nodes and radio links. UAV systems covers multicopters, VTOL aircraft and surveillance drones. Test and measurement covers aeroengine test beds, checkout systems and calibration systems. Mechatronics covers rate tables, positioners and environmental simulation platforms. In all, the site lists 30 product systems.

The flagship aircraft is the MC-09, a twelve rotor, all electric logistics multicopter. The company says it was tested at Khardung La in Ladakh, a very high altitude site.

The services page lists seven in house disciplines. They are systems integration, electrical and electronic design, mechanical design, precision manufacturing, ruggedisation, test and validation, and facility management. The company says these skills are not subcontracted where they matter most.

Yottec says it has around 100 in house specialists. One team leader is named as the author of its ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and CEMILAC quality frameworks. The leadership team includes Chairman Bimal Kumar Jain and Managing Director Siddharth Jain.

The website has a company page, a capabilities page, a products page and a careers page. It does not show a contact form.
