White Saddle Air Services Ltd. is a family-owned and operated helicopter company with its home base at Bluff Lake, just south of Tatla Lake in the Cariboo Chilcotin region of British Columbia, Canada. Climbing groups fly in for day trips or overnight campouts to the Waddington, Pantheon, Queen Bess, Homathko and Niut Ranges. The site gives June to September as the best period for alpine exploring.

Ski mountaineering and touring

Ski mountaineering and touring groups from around the world fly with the company to the Waddington, Homathko, Pantheon, Monarch and Niut Ranges. The ideal backcountry ski conditions listed are March to June.

Location

The base is about 240 km from Williams Lake on Highway 20, then roughly 5 km past Tatla Lake and 21 km along the Bluff Lake Road to the south end of Bluff Lake.
