About Voyager Aviation International
Voyager Aviation International is a flight school based at Merritt Island Airport in Florida. The school provides training for both fixed wing airplane and helicopter pilots. It serves students who want to earn pilot qualifications for personal flying or professional aviation careers.
The school is one of only two schools in the United States that holds an EASA ATO approval to conduct training for European Aviation Safety Agency licenses. It is also the only school in the country with an approved training course for the EASA private pilot helicopter license. These European approvals allow the school to train pilots under both American and European regulatory standards.
Voyager Aviation holds FAA Part 141 approval and can conduct all Federal Aviation Administration training courses under both Part 141 and Part 61 regulations. This dual approval structure lets the school offer combined training programs. Students can work toward both FAA and EASA qualifications within the same training time and budget. This benefits pilots who need certifications from both authorities.
Fixed wing training courses include private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot single engine, commercial pilot multiple engine add on, airline transport pilot, and certified flight instructor programs. The school also offers certified flight instructor instrument airplane training. Helicopter training covers private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, and certified flight instructor courses under FAA rules.
The school offers EASA fixed wing courses including private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot single engine, and commercial pilot multiple engine add on. For rotary students, EASA courses include private pilot, commercial pilot, and type rating courses. Students can train for both airplane and helicopter qualifications under European standards.
Voyager Aviation operates a fleet of training aircraft. Fixed wing airplanes include the Piper Seminole, Cessna 152, Cessna 172, and Piper Warrior. The helicopter fleet includes the Robinson R44 and Robinson R22. The school offers aircraft rental to qualified pilots who have completed their training.
