About Vision Concept Aviation Training Institute

Vision Concept Aviation Training Institute, called VCATI, is an aviation training school in the United Arab Emirates. Its website says it has trained students for the past five years across all parts of the aviation industry. It says students from more than 40 nationalities have trusted it. It works with global partners.

The main program is the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer course. Students can prepare for EASA Category B1.1 and B2 exams and GCAA Category A1 and A2 exams. VCATI also offers BTEC Diplomas in Aeronautical Engineering at Levels 3, 4 and 5. A top-up degree program is listed for aircraft maintenance engineers.

VCATI lists several approvals. It is a GCAA CAR 147 approved training organization. It is an EASA approved examination center, in cooperation with Flyon Aero of Italy. It is a Pearson BTEC approved center for the Higher National Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai has approved all of its programs.

Courses cover more than engineering. The school trains for cabin crew and aviation management jobs. It lists training from ground handling to airline customer service. It also runs hospitality and cabin crew courses and on the job training.

Teaching mixes several methods. These include classroom lessons, web based training and computer based training. Students also do hands-on work in fully equipped engine, airframe and avionics workshops. The school says they have direct access to aircraft, components, parts and engines. It also uses simulators.

VCATI Online lets students study from home. The theory classes cover all CAT B1 and B2 modules under CAR 66, which are modules 1 to 17. A certificate of completion is awarded when a student finishes. The online cabin crew program helps young people prepare for work as cabin crew.

The website explains what an aircraft maintenance engineer does. It also has articles on the challenges for new engineers. A sign-up form lets visitors pick a course and send questions.
