Up & Away Aviation Detailing

Up & Away Aviation Detailing provides interior and exterior valeting and detailing for private and commercial aircraft in the United Kingdom. Its team works from fully equipped vehicles that come to the aircraft, and the company says its detailers meet the training and security standards needed to work at any UK airport. In July 2023 it was acquired by Unifi, the aviation services group, and it now appears as a Unifi brand.

Services

• Exterior valet: post flight wipe down, full external wash and polish, de-greasing, paint compounding and paint sealant application. Its standard method is a dry wash that uses little water
• Interior valet: vacuuming, upholstery and carpet cleaning, spot and stain removal, deodorising, leather cleaning, windows, glass and cockpit area, and drinks restocking on request
• Bright work polishing of engine intakes, wing front edges and window and windscreen surrounds, using a multi-stage machine process

Aircraft and products

The company lists experience with commercial aircraft (Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer), private jets (Cessna, Gulfstream, Dassault, Hawker Beechcraft) and helicopters (Augusta, Eurocopter). It names Granatize, Nuvite, Aero Cosmetics and Xzilon among the products it applies, and will use products specified by the aircraft owner.
