Unicair

Unicair is an air ambulance company. It runs air ambulance jets for patient transfers and repatriation flights worldwide. The site says it operates around the clock, 365 days a year. It says it performs several hundred air ambulance flights every year. The company is certified with the EURAMI standard for air ambulance providers.

The EURAMI certificate confirms high standards for air ambulance operations, safety, aviation, and employee management. The site says the company's medical teams are made up of intensive care physicians and specialists. It says the crews provide care before, during and after each flight until the patient is admitted to hospital.

The company says its service runs bed to bed. This means the flight starts at the sending hospital and ends at the admitting hospital. The company handles the ground transport after the flight as well. The site lists equipment for premature babies and children, bariatric patients, ECMO patients, and long distance ventilation.

The site describes an isolation system called the EpiShuttle. It is used for patients with severe infections, including COVID-19. The system is modular and reusable. The site says it was developed by anesthetists and intensive care physicians at the University Hospital of Oslo. The system can work with negative pressure for infectious patients.

The company describes its process in steps. A customer makes an enquiry by email at any time and receives a transparent offer. The medical team then checks whether the patient is fit to fly. After that, the company organizes the transport and completes the mission. The site says the cabin is disinfected after each mission with hydrogen peroxide.

The site lists a phone number for the operations team. It has pages for careers, downloads, a private enquiry form, and an overview of services. The site also lists a LinkedIn page and an Instagram page.
