TopView is an Italian company that designs and uses drones and Internet of Things systems for business. The Internet of Things means connected sensors and devices that share data. The company started in 2013 to explore the new market for civil drones. It is based in Italy and describes itself as an innovative small to medium company.

TopView builds drone and IoT systems for several fields. These include precision farming, search and rescue, cultural heritage, security and renewable energy. It also offers drone inspections. The company says these are quick and safe, cut time and cost, give precise data and keep staff away from risky work.

The company helps build U-space. This is the planned system of digital services that lets drones share the sky safely with other aircraft. TopView works with Italian and European companies and public bodies on it. Its U-ELCOME project covers U-space services and the integration of unmanned aircraft.

TOMCAT is a digital tool for flight operations. It is a demonstration project co-funded by the European Space Agency. It aims to make general aviation operations safer and smarter. Another project, SENTINEL, is a management system for autonomous drones that work together in very low level airspace.

Certiflight produces certified flight tracks. ACROSS looks at safe operations at airports. PRISMA simulates autonomous flight scenarios. SARA covers search and rescue at sea. OVERHEAT deals with fires on cargo ships. EASY Pv combines the Galileo satellite system with solar power plants.

DIGIMEDFOR uses drones for forest management and wood traceability. TopView presented its Traceability Box in a project webinar. The box records when and where drone surveys take place and links to the project platform. A pilot site at Vallombrosa tests drones and digital tracing for sustainable forestry.

In 2025, TopView was chosen to attend WETEX Dubai, a sustainable energy fair held from 30 September to 2 October. The website lists news, projects and a data privacy notice. Visitors can read about each project there.
