Tecaero Services

Tecaero Services is a Cirrus Authorized Service Center at Avignon-Provence Airport (LFMV) in southern France. The workshop is in the Technopole Pegase business park at 59 Impasse Louis Blériot, 84140 Avignon, between Marseille and Lyon. It holds EASA approval FR.CAO.0185, the combined airworthiness organisation approval used by smaller general aviation maintenance companies in Europe.

Cirrus services

The company specialises in maintenance for the full Cirrus SR series (SR20, SR22 and SR22T) and provides warranty support for SR aircraft. Cirrus Aircraft's locator lists the following at Avignon:

Tecaero describes its work as preventive and corrective maintenance for general aviation aircraft, continued airworthiness support, airworthiness review (ARC) renewal and certification support, and aircraft parts sourcing and supply chain support. It also supports US N-registered aircraft based in France through a partner organisation, which matters to the many French owners who keep their Cirrus on the FAA register.

What the Cirrus listing means

Cirrus Aircraft publishes its own locator of authorized service centers and lists the qualifications each center holds. An Authorized Service Center is approved by Cirrus for warranty and maintenance work on the SR series; a Platinum Service Center is the higher tier Cirrus awards to selected centers. Tecaero holds the standard Authorized Service Center listing for the SR20, SR22 and SR22T. The parachute system (CAPS) has a 10-year overhaul and a 6-year line cutter replacement, and only centers listed for CAPS overhaul do that work in house.
