Swinerton is a 100 percent employee-owned US national construction company founded in 1888, when a Swedish immigrant started a brick masonry and contracting business to serve the West Coast building boom. Today it is a $5 billion firm with more than 4,300 professionals across 24 regional offices from coast to coast, and its aviation group has been a partner of the aviation industry for more than 40 years, delivering roughly $400 million in airport construction each year, about 10 percent of the company's total volume, at 50 airports and airfields for private operators, government agencies and commercial airlines.
