About Supernova Airlines

Supernova Airlines is a cargo airline from Ukraine. The site gives the legal name as Supernova Airlines Limited Liability Company. It is part of the NOVA group of companies. The office is on Stolychne Highway in Kyiv. The company was established on 1 October 2021.

The airline was set up as a cargo carrier for the needs of the NOVA group and its growth. It connects its home base with the United States and China markets. The main goal is to cover the needs of the NOVA group and then slowly build a cargo service for outside companies. The text says the group has over 20 years in the logistics business.

The company received its air operator certificate, number UA 062, on 6 January 2023. It also holds CAMO approval MG 0116 from 26 September 2022. The site says it was the first airline in Ukraine to get an air operator certificate after the full scale war began in February 2022. It has the ICAO code NPG, the IATA code P7 and the radio call sign Nova.

The fleet currently has a Boeing 737-800BDSF freighter, registered UR-NPA, built in 2007. It has a maximum payload of 23,000 kg and a volume of 140 cubic metres. The company leases and operates this aircraft. Until Ukrainian airspace reopens, it plans to operate from an airport in the EU close to the border.

News on the site says it flew its first charter cargo flight on 10 November 2024. In October 2024 it received EASA approval as a Third Country Operator. A charter request form is available on the site.
