Sola Flyklubb

Sola Flyklubb is a flying club at Stavanger Airport Sola in Norway. The club runs its own flight school, which it calls a declared training organisation, or DTO. The school has its own instructors, aircraft and hangar.

The club has more than 250 members. Its training fleet is three Cessna 172 aircraft, one with a G1000 display, and one Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee. The club has a clubhouse on the north side of Stavanger Airport Sola.

The club offers an introductory flight. The site says the introductory flight lasts 50 minutes and costs 2800 Norwegian kroner. The pupil sits at the controls. Gift vouchers are also sold for the flight.

The next theory course starts on Thursday 3 September 2026. Theory lessons run on Mondays and Thursdays until mid February. Pupils can fly solo from the age of 16. The site says the school has pupils of all ages.

Pilots who already hold a licence can join the club and check out on its aircraft. The club meets on Tuesday evenings at 19:00 for club nights. The site lists a members portal for booking aircraft.
