SkySquad

SkySquad is an airport assistance service for travelers in the United States. Its assistants help parents, seniors, and travelers who need translation help move through airports. The company's mailing address is in Bethesda, Maryland.

The company grew from an idea called Nanny in the Clouds, first hatched in 2012. The site says that idea was named one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 brilliant ideas of 2012. It later received coverage from the New York Times, Economist.com, and the Sydney Morning Herald.

The founder, Julie Melnick, created the business after she needed extra help while traveling with young children. The site says SkySquad now focuses on giving extra help in the airport when it is needed most. It says more than 125,000 travelers have moved through the airport with its help.

Dave Osborne is co-founder and CFO. The site says he has worked in leadership roles at Instacart and Redbox. It also says he worked in corporate development for United Airlines and has investment banking and private equity experience.

The home page has a button to book SkySquad. The site also has pages on how the service works, frequently asked questions, a list of airport locations, and a page for people who want to join the team.

The company says it wants to build a simple and affordable way to ease airport stress for families, seniors, and others who need a helping hand. The site says its mission is to help people and families travel with confidence.

The contact page says the team will answer questions sent through a form. The phone number is 877-359-2256. The mailing address is PO Box 341961, Bethesda, Maryland 20817. The site also links to Instagram and Facebook pages.
